Hot Water From Refrigeration Systems

Desuperheater water heater recovers some heat of compression in carnot cycle operation of refrigeration machines for heating water. This is a waste heat recovery. In industry, boiler feed water can be heated up to 60-80c depending on compressor capacity and BFW requirement. In hotels hot water can be used for toilets.

Advantages

  • 'Tube-in-Tube' type 'counter flow' heat exchanger.

  • 3% to 5% saving of Compressor motor.

  • Free hot water for :
    - Boiler make up water.
    - Heating of reactors and Autoclaves
    - Washing and cleaning
    - Dehumidifiers

  • Large saving in fuel and electricity bills.

  • Reduced load on condenser results in possible saving of electricity for condenser pump & cooling tower fan.

  • Eliminates scaling of condenser.

  • Zero maintenance.

Salient Features

  • Substantial reduction in water heating cost by recovering "Free" heat of Refrigeration cycle.

  • Hot water temperature ranging from 45°C to 60°C.

  • Vented double wall tubes protect against cross contamination providing fail-safe life long operation.

  • Built to last forever by adopting "Fit & Forget Technology".

  • Tested quality to ensure flawless field installation.

  • Design simplicity to deliver guaranteed performance.

  • Easy access for on-line maintenance avoiding interruption in cooling cycle. Effective water side cleaning for consistency and efficiency.

  • Material of construction to meet application need ranging from copper to stainless steel.

  • Adequately insulated to avoid heat loss to surroundings while transferring heat to water.

  • Improved refrigeration performance as BONUS to end-user resulting in reduced operating cost.
