AUTOMATIC TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER FOR COOLING TOWER FANS

A cooling water temperature sensor based controller that automatically switches off the cooling tower fan motor once a set water temperature has been reached helps in saving energy. The temperature of cooling water at pump outlet is sensed with 2' long sensor fitted on to water tank below the cooling tower. The savings are more during the winter and cooler nights and also when the plant heat load is less.

SALIENT FEATURE OF DIGITAL TEMPERATURE CONTROLLER ARE AS FOLLOWS:

• Continuous digital display of actual water temperature.

• Individually settable MOTOR ON & MOTOR OFF temperatures (0-80°C).

• Independently settable hooter (warning) temperature (0-80°C).

• (In case the water temperature overshoot, the set hooter temperature, it gives a warning).

• Built-in water level controller for two levels (upper & lower)
  (connect to your fresh water makeup line to control water level in the tower water sump).

• MOTOR ON & MOTOR OFF. Hour meters provided.
  (hour meters help you calculate and verify cum monitor the savings). can be connected with motor of any capacity with any kind of starter.

• Automatic switch over to manual mode in case of emergency (by-pass)

• RTD sensor used (2 ft. length provided as a standard feature)
  Can be fixed with the existing MOTOR & STARTER configuration.
