growth of a developing country like India, the need for energy
conservation by largest sectors like industries and the commercial
establishments. Its this scenario that motivated and emerging
entrepreneur Mr. Som
Derashri have a vision of creating &building an organization
comprehensively addressing all the needs of the energy conservation in
any plant. Qualified from BITS Pilani & IIM Ahmedabad with rich and vast
industrial experience in top management & projects positions, he
ventured into creating an energy auditing firm " Academy for
conservation of energy" (ACE) at Baroda.

The venture soon attracted a lot of talent and today, it has grown to a
team of over a dozen highly experienced and dedicated of
multidisciplinary engineers many of whom have already qualified as
energy auditors under BEE energy conservation act 2001.
The ACE has been authorized by the various state governments like
Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh ( MPUVN ) , Chhatisghar ( CREDA ) , Maharashtra ( MEDA ) ,
Hyderabad ( NEDCAP ) , Kerala ( EMC )
, Punjab. It has also been empanelled by Petroleum Conservation
Research Association ( PCRA ) , Gujarat Energy Development Agency
( GEDA ) , State Bank of India ( SBI ) and many industrial groups
to be their regular energy auditors. The feather in its cap is the
accreditation by Bureau of energy efficiency ( BEE ) , a central
govt regulatory body under the energy conservation act 2001. In
2005 the Industrial chronical, Hydrabad ranked ACE at 10th position and
in 2006 its ranked amongst top 5 energy auditing firms in India.
The ACE has already
conducted over 100 successful energy audits and saved from 5% to 30% of
energy in various industrial & commercial establishments. |
